Borneo Backpackers

Borneo Backpackers is ideally located in the heart of Kota Kinabalu. Borneo Backpackers is a rendevouz for discerning travellers from around the world. Rooms are air-conditioned or have fan. There is a Large Dormitory (10 beds), Medium Dormitory (4 - 6 beds) and Private Rooms. Each room has small storage compartment for personal items and has a fan or is air-conditioned.

Borneo Backpackers offers facilities such as clean bathrooms, toilets, pantry area, internet facility, laundry, cosy lounge area, roof garden deck, 24 hour security, and a tour information counter. Visitors return for the service from the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable local staff.

The ground floor of Borneo Backpackers was converted into a local post war coffee shop named "Borneo 1945 Museum Kopitiam". Managed by a separate business entity, 'Kopitiam' serves traditional local food and is decorated with antique furniture, while the interior and exterior walls display wartime photographs of Australian and British soldiers, local unsung heroes, as well as replicas of war memorial plaques in Sabah.

Late check out policy:

Charge equivalent to one nite extension is required.

Guest to notify Borneo Backpackers not less than 48 hour prior to arrival
